According to the Forbes Health/One Poll survey (conducted in October 2023), the average New Year’s resolution lasts just 3.74 months. Unfortunately, most of the people who made goals for the year will give up on achieving their goals within a few months. Barriers noted, what tends to stop most of us from realizing our intended outcomes?

In The War of Art, author Steven Pressfield identifies Resistance as the chief enemy and killer of creativity. Pressfield suggests that most of us have two lives: the life we live, and the unlived life within us. Between the two stands Resistance.
